What is E-Liquid?
E-liquid consists of just a few different ingredients: Propylene Glycol (PG), Vegetable Glycerin (VG), water, nicotine and flavourings. Typically, e-liquids feature both PG and VG, with one of them often predominating over the other. Some vaping liquids are 0% nicotine, and they contain exactly the same nicotine ingredients. The e-cigarette itself is actually the vapour that an e-cig system transforms into vapour.
Is E-Liquid safer than tobacco?
E-Liquid is being marketed as a 'safe' new tobacco alternative. The key difference between Tobacco and E-Liquid and related products is that there is no tobacco in this latter. Yet, it is not just cigarette smoke that causes cancer and other significant illnesses. Tobacco contains a long list of hazardous chemicals and E-Liquid contains some of the same chemicals.
How Does an E-Liquid contain?
You may need hundreds of different ingredients to sprinkle an e-liquid. Even the back of a chocolate bar wrapper, after all, displays dozens of chemicals, many of which sound strange, to say the least. But here is the thing, best vape liquid UK have essentially four ingredients.
- Propylene Glycol (PG) - A shelf-safe material that is frequently found in pre-packaged food and pharmaceutical items. PG is not absorbed by the body and has been used with no ill effects by pharmaceutical companies for decades. This contains the nicotine and flavourings in an e bath, which otherwise would not fully vaporize. It gives the feeling that vapours call a "throat hit," a smooth, satisfying feeling at the back of the throat
- Vegetable Glycerin (VG) - A plant oil derivation which is (obviously) the main ingredient of our VG range of liquids. VG is used by the food industry as an artificial sweetener and thickener (look out for it in ice creams), but it creates large, thick, billowing clouds of vapour for our purposes. It's present in all vape juices, just as PG is, except the larger the clouds, the larger the VG you get.
- Flavourings - A plant oil derivation which is (obviously) the main ingredient of our VG range of liquids. VG is used by the food industry as an artificial sweetener and thickener (look out for it in ice creams), but it creates large, thick, billowing clouds of vapour for our purposes. It's present in all the vape juice UK, just as PG is, except the larger the clouds, the larger the VG you get.
- Nicotine - Nicotine is the only ingredient in the vape liquid that poses a hazard. That's because nicotine liquid UK is highly addictive and, in large doses, it is poisonous. Admittedly an adult will have to very quickly drink a lot of nicotine to be affected, but still. Nicotine in our e-liquid shop UK is an optional reason, and we recommend that non-smokers adhere to nicotine-free liquids.
